Litesound complain about lack of money for "Eurovision"

The Litesound complain that they don't have enough money to prepare for the "Eurovision-2012'. In the opinion of the leader of the band Dzmitry Karakin, their promo tour to Chisinau, which was planned last weekend, was cancelled because of financial problems.

Dzmitry Karakin: "There is too much financial stuff going on at the moment. I have a feeling that someone makes it all slow on purpose... We have already lost our promo tours, to put it politely. For example, there was a concert in Moldova yesterday [March 11 - Euroradio]. We were supposed to go. And then they told us that we did not need to go as translations of the invited foreign artists had been cancelled. And today I see - the Sinplus [Eurovision's participant from Sweden - Euroradio] placed an ad "We sing in Moldova today!". So, we didn't go to Moldova due to some reason, while the Sinplus did".

Two weeks ago the musicians were sure that shootings of their video for the "Eurovision" would take place not in Belarus. Today Dzmitry Karakin told Euroradio that they would shoot in Minsk, which is naturally cheaper than to take the shooting group abroad.

Dzmitry Karakin: "I can tell you for sure that we will make the video in Minsk. However, we are still waiting for the team which will work on the performance and image of the band to arrive. Without an elaborated image it is impossible to start shootings. There will be people from Greece who seriously work with the "Eurovision", they have an impressive portfolio".

Producer Alyaksandr Tsikhanovich, who has 8 "Eurovision" contenders in his portfolio, found the Greeks. Unfortunately, those contenders were not successful, apart from Dzmitry Kaldun. Another Greek - Dimitris Kantopulos - will work on the song which the Litesound will take to Baku.

Dzmitry Karakin: "The work on the performance hasn't started yet. However, the musical producer who is going to work with us on the arrangements arrives here literally in two days. This is a producer from Greece who used to work with Dima Bilan, Ani Lorak and Dzima Kaldun. We will make the final version of the song "We are Heroes" for the "Eurovision" together with him. We have already discussed the details via Skype: he likes the chorus very much, it is likely to be left unchanged. As for the intro and the verse - there will be changes, and we will be able to say which ones only in two days when he brings the materials".

According to the musician, he feels that Alyaksandr Tsikhanovich really wants some positive results from the Litesound's trip to the "Eurovision". However, the fact remains - three weeks have passed since the Litesound were announced winners of the "Eurofest", and the musicians have gone on no promo tours yet. The work on the video, or on the band's image hasn't been started yet, and the song is still to be amended.
