Birch bark Stalins sold in Minsk (photo)

You can see Belarusian tourist souvenirs at the exposition "Kultbythoztovary-2013" at "BelExpo".

Minsk company "Electa" has displayed magnets made of birch bark there.

The material is not the only unusual thing about the magnets. Besides traditional images of the National Library and the Red Catholic Church, you can find the Statue of Liberty from New York and even Josef Stalin there. The sellers explained it by creativity:

“You know, these Stalins are very popular. We have already sold about ten of them."

There are ordinary magnets too. they cost 10 thousand roubles and they are popular with foreigners. The birch bark Stalins cost 25 thousands.

However, you could not find modern Belarusian politicians among the images. Creative entrepreneurs do not want to risk.
