Belarus leads consumer prices growth among post-Soviet states

The prices increased by 4.3% in the first two month of the year in Belarus. It is followed by Armenia (2.5%), Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan (1.7%), Russia (1.5%), Estonia (1.3%), Kyrgyzstan (1.2%), Tajikistan (1.1.%), Moldova (1%), Lithuania and Ukraine (0.1%), reports Belapan news agency. No information about Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is available because the statistics is published every three months there.

Belarus also topped the rankings of price growth among ex-USSR republics in 2011and 2012 (108.7 and 21.8% respectively).
