Lukashenka describes election system changes
The last meeting of the House of Representatives of this convocation and the Council of the Republic is being held today. The state leader is making his speech.
The Belarusian people have made the right choice by supporting a strong government insated of parliamentary "chatterboxes", Alyaksandr Lukashenka noted. The Parliament of the 5th convocation will start modernizing Belarus' political system, he claimed.
Belarus should not change its election system until competent and influential parties appear, Lukashenka said.
