Public prosecutor demands to fine K.Salauyova for 200 base amounts
Polatsk Court accuses an activist of an unregistered organization “Malady Front” Kasya Salauyova of acting on behalf of an unregistered organization.
The lawyer Alyaksandr Haliyeu read an open letter of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and of the human rights defending association “Vyasna” liquidated by the authorities before the hearing started. The letter condemns article 193 p.1 of the Criminal Code and contains a demand to conduct an impartial court examination. The judge has attached the letter to the case.
Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch, Pavel Sevyarynets and other public figures arrived at the hearing.
Sevyarynets: Malady Front members were shouting “Malady Front”, “Power to the people, freedom to the youth”, “The regime sucks, Kasya we are with you!”. The police tried to detain several people, a scuffle took place.
