Russian Ambassador Sergei Andreev was doused with red paint in Warsaw as he was trying to lay a wreath at the cemetery of Soviet soldiers who died during World War II. At that moment, a crowd gathered (the Russian side claims that Poles and Ukrainians were among them) and the attack took place. The ambassador, his wife, and other Russian diplomats got covered in red paint. In the end, the wreath could not be laid. The ambassador heard more insults (including insults to Vladimir Putin) and had to leave. The Polish police escorted him to his car.

Obviously, the aggression against the Russian diplomats was caused by the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine.
