Polack flag to be raised at Everest

The colors of Polack and a capsule with the soil from Efrasinja The Savior Monastery will be lifted to the world’s highest Mount Everest.

The idea belongs to Siarhej Batura, a Russian businessman. The ethnic Belarusian and Polack-born man currently lives in the Primorye region of Russia.

In early April, a group of mount-climbers, including Siarhej, is planned to reach the higest point on the earth, ERB correspondent Viktar Zueu reports.

The city authorities have already solemnly submitted the flag and the capsule to the former compatriot.
