Photo fact: Ukrainian flag above Sloviank
This Donetsk Oblast city is still controlled by pro-Russia militants.
There are about 1500 militants, some sources report. Ukraine soldiers have surrounded the city but have not entered it. They control the TV tower on Mount Karachun near Sloviansk now. The Ukrainian flag has been hoisted there.
It was hoisted by guardsman Miroslav Gai and paratrooper Sergei Sevchuk 200 metres above the ground, censor.net.ua reports.
The flag was hosted to the fireworks of a grenade launcher and machine gun, Gai wrote on Facebook. Militants are shooting near the TV tower and have tried to force Ukrainian soldiers back many times.
