Oleg Sentsov's photo in hospital published

Russia's Federal Service for Corrections has published a photo of Ukrainian film director Oleg Sentsov in a prison hospital but it is not clear when the image was taken.

The Russian prison officials said in the news that Sentsov had been taken to a hospital for additional checks in order to adjust his medical treatment program.

Ukraine citizen Oleg Sentsov lived in Crimea and was arrested by Russian authorities and convicted for terrorism. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Sentsov is serving his term in Russia. In May, he went on a hunger strike in protest.

Human rights defenders recognized Sentsov as a political prisoner.
