New earthquakes at Philippines, typhoon in Japan: over 100 dead

Two earthquakes hit the Philippines area that suffered from a 7.2 magnitude quake just the day before.

This time the strength of the quakes wasn't so great - the magnitude reached 5.2. Yesterday, the epicenter located in Bohol island, today it moved to Cebu island with the second-biggest city of the Philippines, the airport and the largest port.



According tot he latest information, 107 people were killed, 276 injured. Over 3 million people suffered to a certain extent. 12 500 Philippines residents lost their houses.
 

Japan typhoon "Wipha" killed 13 people. It also brought record rainfall to Izu Oshima island - the river flooded and demolished dozens of houses. The destiny of about 30 people is unknown by now.
