Nationalists, anarchists clash in Prague

Around 250 people were detained by police in the Gzech capital Prague, following the clashes between the local nationalists and ultra-left forces.  Representatives of the Young Nationalists Democrats organization on Saturday evening attempted to stage a march in a historically Jewish part of the Czech capital. The rally was not authorized by the government.

The nationalists' column was attacked by hundreds of anarchists. Several people were injured during the clashes that snowballed to the other districts of the city. The center of Prague was paralyzed for the whole day. Several metro stations were closed for the public.

Both the rightist and leftist radicals have announced plans to stage new actions soon, reports Interfax.
