National Bank: Belarusian guest workers earned over $900 million in 2012
Belarus' central bank has calculated the total amount of personal money orders from abroad to this country in 2012.
It has grown from less than 800 million dollars in 2011 and 240 million dollars in 2007. Thus, Belarusians’ wages abroad have increased by 15.2%, Interfax-West reports.
But it is worth noting that it is impossible to calculate Belarsuains’ real wages abroad. One can only expect them to be much higher than amounts sent home.
