Moiseyev says Belarus eyes him for Eurovision

Belarusian-born Russian pop star Boris Moiseyev confirmed that he has received an offer to represent Belarus at the Eurovision song contest that will be held in Moscow in 2009. He would not specify who made the offer.
"I have received offers from several countries to represent them at the show," pravda.ru quoted the singer as saying. "I have not decided yet. It may be Belarus, Ukraine or Russia. I think I have a week to decide."

Euroradio reported earlier that Alyaksandr Tsikhanovich, the man in charge of the selection process in Belarus, questioned Moiseyev's ability to perform live.
