Lukashenka speaks about another giant state
He talked about Vietnam last week and has commented on India now.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has met Indian Member of Parliament Meira Kumar on Monday.
There are no political problems between the two states, the Belarusian President said. He suggested establishing trade and economic relations. Lukashenka expressed a hope to see the Indian President in Belarus in autumn.
"India is a giant and the richest country in the world, relations with India are essential for us,” Interfax-West quotes Lukashenka.
Lukashenka also called Vietnam “giant” during his meeting with Vietnamese PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Friday.
