Lukashenka signs decree on creation of state leasing company

The Belarusian Minister of Economy Mikalai Zaaichanka claimed that the Belarusian President has signed a decree on leasing activities and creation of a state leasing company at a meeting of the Council of Ministers on September 26. “Interfax” reports that the project of the corresponding state decision had been discussed by the Belarusian authorities for more than six months. The creation of a leasing company is considered by the government as one of the key measures needed to increase the export of Belarusian machine-building equipment.

It used to be planned that state investments in the capital of the leasing company would total Br 200 billion during the first stage.
