Alyaksandr Lukashenka will make his State of the Nation Address on April 19. MPs and senators, high-ranking officials and the heads of major enterprises, journalists and diplomats are usually invited to the speech.

The speech will be broadcast live on Belarus 1, Belarus 24 and the First Channel of the Belarusian Radio. Lukashenka made the previous State of the Nation Address on April 24, 2018. It took 90 minutes.

Neither Euroradio journalists, nor the journalists working for any other non-governmental mass media have been accredited to listen to Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s speech this year. Journalists representing official regional mass media have been invited this year so there are not enough seats for everyone, the press service of the House of Representatives explained.
