Jail-breaker tries to cross Belarus-Lithuania border
A man wandering without papers has been detained by Belarusian frontier guards 2 kilometers away from the Lithuanian border. It turned out that he had escaped from a Belarusian prison. According to BelaPAN, the detained claimed that he was a 44-year-old Lithuanian. The man was imprisoned for alimony evasion or for evading state taxes for maintenance of children. An investigation has been started.
