Former political prisoner Ales Bialiatski in Warsaw
Belarusian human rights defender Ales Bialiatski visited Warsaw on July 10.
The meeting in Warsaw was titled "Ales Bialiatski: First Time after Release". After his early release from a prison in Belarus, Ales Bialiatski is touring Europe. His main message during the tour is to remind European politicians so that they "keep Belarus in their sight", he said.
Ales Bialiatski noted that "there should be no illusion hoping that the Belarusian regime can become democratic."
