Expert: China may absorb Russia's Far East
Russia has created a future threat for its territorial integrity by seizing and annexing Crimea.
Ex-head of the Ukrainian Security Service Ihor Semashko expressed histhe opinion at a briefing. “Nothing could prevent China from using the same principle to defend Chinese-speaking citizens, millions of them, who live in the Far East,” UNIAN news agency quotes Mr Semashko as saying.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on absorbing Crimea and Sevastopol on March 21.
