EU ban for Crimean goods

“Crimean and Sevastopol goods cannot be imported to the European Union,” the document says. It will also be forbidden to render insurance and financial services connected with the import of such goods.

“Crimean and Sevastopol goods may still be imported to the European Union if they receive certificates from the Ukrainian authorities,” RIA Novosti reports.

The EU cancelled or restricted custom duties for most industrial and agricultural products made in Ukraine as of April 23. The decision will be in force by November 1. The EU-Ukraine Association Agreement will come into force by then.
