Civil initiative “SOS Hrodna!” Created in Belostok
A civil initiative “SOS Hrodna!” has been created in Belostok. It is headed by Pyotr Yankouski, the head of the fund “Aid to Hrodna Region children”. It was announced at a joint conference of representatives of a Belarusian movement “For Freedom” and Belastok authorities.
It is expected that the town council will adopt a special regulation concerning the issue of preserving the cultural and historic heritage of the European Region “Neman” that is being destroyed in Hrodna.
It also became known that a deputy of the Polish Seim Robert Tyshkevich sent a deputy inquiry to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage about the way Poland could protect the universal historic heritage.
