Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev "walking", claims not guilty

Surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, wounded in a sooting with the police, has recovered enough to walk, his mother says.

In an interview for the Associated Press, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva said her son told her in a phone call that he and his brother, killed in a police manhunt after the blasts, were innocent.

19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is staying in the prison hospital. He has been charged with use of mass destruction weapon and malicious demolition of property. 3 people died in the blast at the finishing line of the Boston marathon on April 15, more than 260 were hurt.



Tsarnaev told his mother he was getting better but was struggling to comprehend what had happened. The Tsarnaev family has continued to claim the men's innocence in the bomb attacks, informs ВВС.


Death of immigrant Ibragim Todashev raised many questions. He was accused of helping the Tsarnaev brothers. According to some information, the FBI agents shot him in the back of the head during the interrogation.
