Maduro says Venezuela ready to welcome Snowden

According to him, as RIA Novosti quotes, Venezuela is ready to welcome the ex-CIA agent Edward Snowden and provide "humanitarian protection" to him. Maduro used to say before that if the American asked for refuge in Venezuela he would most likely get it.

Snowden informed the whole world that the U.S. National Security Agency monitors electronic communications on the most famous websites, with the help of the top-secret program PRISM. The United States canceled his passport. Snowden is thought to stay in the transit zone of the Sheremetevo airport, Moscow. It was informed before that the Ecuador authorities issued the refugee documents to him. However, the government of Ecuador refuted this information later.
