Belarus's central bank to raise re-financing rate from October 15
The National Bank of Belarus on October 15 will raise the re-financing rate from 10.5 percent up to 10.75 percent p.a., reports Interfax.
The current rate was introduced by the centrak bank on September 13.
Inflation in January-August in Belarus reached 8.2 percent. The National Bank does not rule out that the re-financing rate could be raised up to 11-14 percent p.a. by the end of 2008.
