Belarusian MFA not invited to attend Kalinouski reburial in Vilnius

MFA spokesperson Anatol Hlaz says the ministry received no invitation from Vilnius to attend the re-burial of Kastus Kalinouski.
The Belarusian MFA has not received an official invitation to the reburial of Kastus Kalinouski and other rebels, MFA spokesperson Anatol Hlaz announced at a briefing on August 29.
The remains of the January Uprising participants including Kastus Kalinouski and Zygmunt Sierakowski were found during excavations near the Upper Castle in Vilnius. All of them have been identified. The remains will be reburied in Rasos Cemetery in Vilnius in autumn. A governmental commission made the decision to write the names of the rebels in three languages – Lithuanian, Polish and Belarusian.
