Belarus to consider Uralkali CEO extradition request for one month

Charges are supposed to be brought up against him in Russia.

"Judging by experience, it usually takes a month to make such decisions if there is no need to study additional case papers,” a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office told RIA Novosti.

Uralkali CEO is accused of power and authority abuse as regards the Belarusian Potash Company. Then the charges were changed to “theft”.

A criminal case for “power abuse” was started against Baumgertner and a number of other officials in Russia.
