Agreement on Ukrainian energy supplies to Belarus has not been signed yet

The agreement on Ukrainian energy supplies to Belarus has not been signed yet, has claimed a director general of “Belenerga” Pavel Yakubovich. According to him, the negotiations have been conducted since the last year and “the main problem is the price”.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian Minister of Energy Yuri Pradan has claimed today that the export of energy to Belarus will start on June 1. At the same time he noted that the energy will be sold at a price advantageous for Ukraine.

However, Belarus is still not ready to buy Ukrainian energy at the price of the Ukrainian group market. It will be necessary to change the Ukrainian legislation in order to lower this price, notes BelTA quoting Yakubovich.
