Yazofat Kuntsevich remembered in Vitsebsk (pictures)

Yazofat Kuntsevich, an uniate church and political figure during the times of Grand Duchy of Lithuania killed in Vitsebsk, was remembred on November 12.
At the end of the 19th century, the Roman Catholic Church declared Kintsevich a saint. Parishioners held prayers on Uspensk Hill were the former Polatsk Archbishop was killed on November 12, 1623.

Another joint service for Uniates and Catholics was held in the local cathedral. Similar events have taken place in Vitsebsk since 2000.
