Vadzim Hihin urges to release political prisoners
Pro-Lukashenka commentator Vadzim Hihin says political prisoners in Belarus should be freed.
The editor-in-chief of Belaruskaya Dumka has suggested it in his blog on the website of the official news agency BELTA.
Hihin wrote: “Let’s get away from formal logics. Intuition is often far more important in politics. These people’s political aims and goals are unacceptable and contrary to mine. But I do not hate them personally.”
He would release all the political prisoners. Hihin said: “However, we have the law…” The official ideologist’s appeal may be the first step to prepare public opinion and ground for the release of political prisoners.
