Ukrainian protest actions results: 2000 arrested, 29 missing, 5 dead

The debates On Functioning of Democratic Institutions in Ukraine are being held in Strasbourg. A winter PACE session has been organized there. One of the speakers announced the number of aggrieved people in Ukraine, head of Kiev Centre of Political Studies and analytics Victor Teran said.
2000 protesters are in jail, 29 are missing and 129 journalists were injured, member of the Verkhovna Rada Sergei Sobolev said. Five people were killed.
Sergei Sobolev demanded to impose sanctions on the Ukrainian authorities.
The participants of the debates will be suggested voting for the resolution when the discussion is over, Euroradio found out. The monitoring committee expresses anxiety in connection with violence on both sides and is urging to start a dialogue. It also threatens to deprive the Ukrainian delegation of the voting right at the next session if the violence escalates.
