Saudi Arabia's King dies

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has died at the age of 90. He will be buried this afternoon. His 79-year-odl brother Salman has become the new king. He had recently taken on the sick monarch's responsibilities.

Abdullah came to the throne in 2005 but had suffered frequent bouts of ill health in recent years, BBC reports. He spent his last week in hospital with lung infection.
