Zhanna Litvina’s travel ban explained (document)
The chairperson of the Belarusian Association for Journalists has received the corresponding reference in the Citizenship and Migration Department.
According to the BAJ press service, the document says that Litvina is a debtor. The Ministry of Justice presented such information about the head of the journalist organization on March 5.
Legal expert Andrei Bastunets notes that the Ministry can present such information only if a bankruptcy case is being process in court.
Let us remind you that five members of “BAJ” have been forbidden to leave Belarus: chairperson Zhanna Litvina, Valyantsin Stefanovich, Andrei Dynko, Mihas Yanchuk and Harry Pahanyaila. By the way, Pahanyaila has received the same reference as Litvina.
