Sentence to Porsche Cayenne driver to be pronounced on Friday
The prosecutor demands 4 years of imprionment in a settlement correctional colony for Andrei Zababura.
On Wednesday, Zababura made his last speech. He said that he admitted only moral guilt in the accident. He asked forgiveness from the mother and the relatives of the deceased boy. He said he would render any help to them regardless of the court decision.
The sentence will be pronounced on Friday, February 15, at 3 p.m. in the Frunzenski district court of Minsk.
Andrei Zababura is standing trial for killing 9-year-old Uladzik Hruzdzeu. The tragedy happened in November in Minsk micro-district Sukharava. The "Porsche Cayenne" driver didn't notice the boy and ran him over.
