Russian writer Boris Strugatski stands for Zmitser Dashkevich
Famous Russian culture figures wrote a letter to the Belarusian police about Zmitser Dashkevich's destiny.
Writers Boris Strugatski and Nina Katarli, and aslo actor Alexej Divotchenko addressed to the Department for Serving Punishments. The authors of the letter demanded not to violate the rights of the prisoner, whom, in their opinion, the Belarusian authorities persecute due to political reasons, Radio Liberty informs.
Zmitser Dashkevich is still in the solitary cell in the Hlybokae colony. He reads and writes a lot and does not complain about confinement conditions.
