Police guards streamer "Freedom for Statkevich!" in Polatsk
This streamer hanged there for about an hour and many people could see it.
The streamer was hoisted by the
representatives of the civil association "Free Region" on August 2,

A police car
approached the streamer literally in 10 minutes and stayed there for at least 20
minutes. After that the car left and two policemen arrived, and
"guarded" the streamer for 15 more minutes.
After that, people
in plain clothes arrived and looked at the streamer for five minutes or so,
then took pictures and took it off. Thus, the passers-by could see the streamer
urging to release the political prisoner for about an hour.
