National Bank hunts for biased currency exchange offices
People who have failed to buy dollars or euros at exchange booths are asked to report such incidents to the National Bank.
There have been posts in social netwoks by people who complain about the lack of foreign currency in exchange offices, the National Bank told BelTA. Experts from the National Bank believe there are no reasons for a sudden destabilization of the situation in the monetary market: the banks have enough foreign currency at their disposal to stock currency exchange offices, says the National Bank.
At the same time, experts admit that the situations when currency exchange offices lack money can happen. However, "there are no objective reasons for that and such incidents can be explained by the human factor, namely, by tellers' work," assures the country's main financial institution.
