Fewer Europeans are visiting Belarus visa-free, with 4,776 arrivals last week

Over the past week, 4,776 residents of European countries arrived in Belarus visa-free. That is almost 1,500 fewer than the week before, when 6,267 people visited the country. At the beginning of August, the figure was even higher — more than 7,000 visa-free visitors per week.
The largest number of arrivals during this period were residents of Lithuania — 1,715 people, followed by Latvia — 1,364, and Poland — 721. Another 976 people arrived from other European countries covered by the extended visa-free regime.
In total, since April 2022, more than 1.4 million European residents have visited Belarus visa-free. The majority of them are citizens and non-citizens of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. The Belarusian authorities have extended the visa-free regime for citizens of 38 European countries until the end of 2026.
