Hryshyn lost $20 thousand on Georgian ribbons

Belarusian freestyle skier Alyaksei Hryshyn decided to organize the charity action “Ribbon of Saint George” a year ago. Black and orange ribbons appeared in many Belarusian shops on February 23, 2011. The money was supposed to be spent on assistance to handicapped sportsmen.

“Unfortunately, people bought few ribbons. Very few. I have already lost about 20 thousand dollars”, - said Alyaksei Hryshyn to Euroradio.

The freestyle skier is not going to stop the action. He is hoping that people will support the sportsmen who risked their health for the sake of our country’s great sports achievements.
