Football fans all over Belarus in mourning for blast victims (photo)

It is not excluded that the catastrophe concerned friends of footballers or club bosses, or people they knew. Representatives of "BATE""s press-center claim that Minsk metro tragedy affected the head of the club administration Anatol Kapski.

“Someone Kapski knew suffered. He said this in an interview to TV-channels after the game against "Dynama". It's the former plant's employee, who used to work in a production facility, but has his own business now - somebody of his children was injured”.

The "Yellow-Blues' urge football teams and their fans to render some financial support to the casualties at their web-site. Euroradio has addressed to Minsk city executive committee in order to find out whether any other clubs joined this initiative. However, the officials have said it's not real to obtain such information.

Minsk city executive committee's accounting department:“We have receipts up to several meters long. It is not real to obtain the information about the clubs. It will take the whole day just to sit and check. The bank has been printing addendums to the receipts alone from 9 till 11, so much money arrive”.

The head of the Belarusian Football Federation's press-center Andrej Chepa says that the Federation's employees did not stay aside from the tragedy as well. 

“There was no centralized money transfer, but we know for sure that some employees transferred the money by their own”.

Football fans also expressed their condolenses to the blast victims. Special banners were made in this regard.

Let us remind you, Minsk city executive committee created a commission for rendering material aid to the terrorist act casualties after the blast on April 11. Everyone can transfer money to the special bank account. More than 2 billion Br have been transferred to this account by the moment of April 15, 5 p.m.
