Builders gave bribes to avoid safety control
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigation Committee have revealed the fact.
Objects built in the past few years are causing alarm, Yezhednevnik reports. A lot of facts of bribery have been revealed in the Building Control and Supervision Department. The department is the state's guarantee of technical norms and safety.
However, it was a possible to solve "building issues" in Minsk and Minsk province with the help of a bribe. A similar investigation has started in Hrodna Province. Even the object the construction of which was personally controlled by the state leader is on the list.
The revealed facts will be analyzed and a reports about the current situation of building supervision in Belarus will be made. The level of safety of the objects on the list will also have to be determined.
