Beaten invalid's mother: He was polite and showed ID

TUT.by journalists have visited the beaten invalid in hospital and talked to his mother. The woman has presented her version of January 2 incident. She was returning home with her son from the cinema house "Belarus" on that day. She took a seat between two passengers. Her son needed a seat near a handrail. She wanted him to take her place but he refused.

The woman says that her son was polite and showed his ID to prove his disability. But the guy replied: "Go away". Then the invalid asked the girl to let him sit down. She wanted to stand up but the guy told her: "Sit down!".

The invalid's mother says that the hooligan started swearing and that her son did not attack him and did not tap his foot. The fight took about a minute  - it ended when the train arrived at the station "Victory Square".

The woman thinks that the young people who attacked her son were "intoxicated" but she could not smell any alcohol.

Her son's condition has worsened after the fight. He has stopped walking and talking and she is using a wheelchair to transport him now.

The doctor has refused to comment on his patient's health condition. However, hospital doctors have informed that he cannot walk and has to use a wheelchair. They have not noticed any aggression in his behaviour.
