Attempt at presidential candidate's life in Armenia
Paruyr Hayrikyan, leader of the Union for National Self-Determination, was shot at in the street.
He has been wounded in the shoulder, BBC reports.
Head of the Parliament Ovik Abramyan does not exclude that the election appointed for February 18 may be postponed due to the attack. According to the country's Constitution, the election day may be postponed for two weeks if candidates encounter any obstacles to participation in it.
The Armenian CEC registered eight candidates earlier.
