An action of solidarity with the Belarusian political prisoners "Love Belarus" took place near the Red Catholic Church in Minsk on St. Valentine's Day.
Representatives of the independent society prayed together near the Red Catholic Church. The participants of the action put flowers, lit candles, read extracts of the article "Love" from Paval Sieviarynets' book "Love Belarus". Paval Sieviarynets is in the KGB prison now, informs the "Young Front" press-center.
Apart from the traditional prayer for the political prisoners and singing of the Belarusian spiritual anthem "God Almighty", the participants of the action placed the burning candles on the snow in the shape of a heart. Belarus was inside this heart.
Also, the activists left 36 specially made Valentine cards in the shape of Belarus near the statue of Michael the Archangel, one for each prisoner, who are now in custody in the KGB detention center, including Zmitser Dashkevich, who is in prison in Zhodzina, and the political prisoner Mikalaj Autukhovich, informs the BCD press-center.
