494 people contend for 110 places in House of Representatives
597 documents sets were submitted to the district electoral commissions by potential candidates for deputies.
This means that some of the contenders
were nominated by several ways, says the CEC Secretary Mikalaj Lazavik.
Let us remind you, it is possible to be nominated by a political party, working
collective or by collecting signatures. 394 people used one way, 96 people used
two ways and 4 people used all the three ways.
Among them there are 93 women (18,8%), 55 people under 30 years old (11,1%), 22 people were members of the House of Representatives before or still are(4,5%), and 57 people were the deputies of local councils or still are (11,5%), informs BELTA.
