Pavel Sevyarynets about “appeal of four”: We do not want communists in UDF

The right-wing democratic forces of Belarus supported by Christian democrats have adopted an appeal “On the qualitative base of the coalition organization”. It is signed by Lyavon Barshcheuski (BNF), Alyaksandr Milinkevich (steering committee for creation of the Movement “For Freedom”), Pavel Sevyarynets (steering committee for creation of “Belarusian Christian Democracy” party) and Zmitser Dashkevich (“Malady Front”). They confirmed that “the independence of Belarus was an absolute value” and that “phrases about the fortuitousness of Belarusian independence were an insult”.
Pavel Sevyarynets gave an interview to ERB and explained what people the appeal of the right was supposed to influence:

"The appeal is supposed to influence Belarusian activists who think that something else besides independence may be the basis of the democratic coalition. I mean Syarhei Kalyakin who claimed that the Belarusian independence “was achieved in a rather strange way” and who has demonstrated his liking for Russia many times".

Pavel Sevyarynets says that the right would not like communists to be part of the United Democratic Forces.
