Lukashenka’s security service: Explosive was brought in President's Office

An article dedicated to the history of this service has been published in SB. Belarus Today. The service of 15 people prevented 12-15 serious threats a year, ex-head of the Security Service operative department Uladzimir Klimau said.

According to Klimau, a man entered the President’s Administration in 1998 or 1999. He had a blasting assembly on him and he was holding the detonating fuse. The man lost control at the last moment and started shouting that he would blow everyone up. The man was caught.

By the way, it was not the only attempt of the kind in the President’s Administration. Another criminal shot at the building from his car, Klimau said. Both were convicted.
