Lukashenka visits aircraft repair plant in Baranavichy
Belarus president Aliaksandr Lukashenka is visiting 558 Aircraft Repair Plant to discuss prospects for the development of defense industries.
The plant in Baranavichy specializes in overhauling combat aviation equipment, including fighter jets Su-17 (al modifications), Su-25, Су-27, MiG-29, helicopter gunships Мі-8 , Мі-24. Besides, it also repairs civilian aicraft Antonov-2 and Mi-17 chopper, reports BELTA.
The head of state will continue his visit to Brest province by holding a session with local authorities on preparations for the upcoming seeding campaign and socio-economic development of the regions.
