Lukashenka pardons Alexander Kozulin

The head of state signed his decree to pardon Alexander Kozulin last Friday, but it is yet to be known on which condition. The politician has made a statement that he is not going to accept the pardon. Kozulin has promised to share his plans on Monday.
The decree to pardon Alexander Kozulin was signed by Alexander Lukashenka on Friday, a source at the Office of the President told Belapan. However, the conditions for the release of Kozulin have remained unknown. Acording to Ihar Rynkevich, Kozulin's former lawyer, the politician has either no intention to reveal the conditions of his release or has not received a copy of the decree yet.

“Under the laws of Belarus, the pardon of this kind can be arranged on various conditions. We will learn later what exactly is written in the decree", Rynkevich said.

Meanwhile, Kozulin has said he is not going to accept the pardon. The politician has promised to reveal his plans at a news conference on Monday.
