L. Barshcheuskі: "EuroDictionary" is aimed for beginners
A presentation of “EuroDictionary” will take place in the office of BNF in Minsk on May 20. It will begin at 6 p.m. The edition is a 28-langauge dictionary called a unique edition that “surprised Europe”. However, its author, Lyavon Barshcheuski, says that “EuroDictionary” was not supposed to surprise anyone - it had to demonstrate a new way of composing dictionaries.
There are more Belarusian texts than native speakers using Belarusian in everyday life created these days, says Barshcheuski. That is why he has made a dictionary for those who cannot speak the language but would like to read Belarusian publications.
Lyavon Barshcheuskі: "It is aimed at beginners, at the people who are getting interested in the Belarusian language”.
Let us note that the author of “EuroDictionary” has been working on it since 2004.
