Killer surrenders to police 14 years after murder

A 52-year-old resident of Barysau has been sentenced to 13 years in jail for killing one man and attempting to kill another, reports Belapan. It is worth noting that he committed the crimes more than 14 years ago and recently turned out at a police station in order to confess and repent. The man confessed that he was tired of living with such a buren for many years. Besides, after he left his finger prints (a mandatory procedure for men in Belarus), he realized he would be disclosed sooner or later. He committed the crime out of fear that he would be exportionated. The killer had been a victim of extortionists. Throughout all these years, he has lived undercover with a fake identity in Barysau.
